FAQ
What you most often ask us about.
How to book a term?
– The date of the experience must always be booked at least 2 days in advance via the booking form
Can someone accompany me?
The space around the simulator allows you to bring up to 3 people who can freely take photos and shoot videos. There are also seats in aviation style.
How long does the experience last?
According to the chosen variant – 60 or 90 minutes + instruction according to the client’s experience (usually 5-15 minutes).
Is the pilot's age on the simulator somehow limited?
Due to the nature and amount of data included in the pre-flight preparation, as well as the ergonomics of the cockpit, the recommended age for our pilots is 12 years. Upon appointment, younger candidates may also fly. We have no age limit, but the pilots must be able to climb into the cockpit as well as climb down at the end of the flight.
Is shooting and filming allowed?
Of course yes. Both the attendants and the pilot in the cockpit of the simulator can take photos and videos.
How can I buy a flight on the simulator?
The flight can be purchased as a voucher via our website, in the section Buy the experience. Vouchers are sent by e-mail or post, or can be collected in person. In all options, delivery is free of charge.
What is the validity of the vouchers?
Vouchers purchased from us are valid for 12 months. However, the validity period may vary if an experience has been purchased with one of our partners.
I can fly the simulator on my computer at home, can't I?
At present, computer simulators are available on the computers to the general public. However, no matter how good the software is, flying with a fighter aircraft using a plastic joystick and keyboard do not give you full satisfaction and joy of flying. Sit in a real metal cockpit of a Messerschmitt Bf 109 that is missing just the wings. With us, simulation becomes a reality!
What are your cancellation terms?
Are the simulators movable?
Like most military simulators, our simulators are static (or not moving) because it is impossible to infer the G-forces that the pilot experiences during his typical mission. However, thanks to the visual system, most customers feel they are moving, and not infrequently happens that for example when yawing the aircraft customers are holding its construction.
Do I need to have some pilot skills?
No, everything will be explained to you by the instructor during the initial briefing. During the experience, he will follow your flight and recommend or remind you of the necessary operations to control the aircraft. Most clients do not have any experience with aircraft control (not even computer simulation), so there’s no need to worry about it.
How closely resembles the actual simulator control to real aircraft?
Our simulator is a replica of a real cockpit. The dashboard and all controls in the cabin were made according to the original drawings. The Simulator was designed in cooperation with the Messerschmitt Stiftung, which in Manching, Germany, together with EADS (now Airbus Group) is involved in maintaining a number of historical aircraft of this brand (Me-163, Me-262 and two Bf 109Gs) in an airworthy condition.
What are the technical specifications of the Messerschmitt Bf 109?
The main development criteria was that the controls were as realistic as possible – also suitable for use as a training simulator of an aircraft. The original stick, pedals, throttle lever and instrument panel were designed according to the original drawings. At AEROSIM.cz these elements were completed and placed in the cockpit. The visualization of the environment, ensured by HD projection, illustrates the overall atmosphere of a unique flight projected onto a 2.5-meter screen. To illustrate the real sense of vibration and noise in the cabin, the simulator is equipped with a vibration system in the seat and a multichannel 7.1 sound system in the headphones.
What was the Messerschmitt Bf 109 famous for?
The legendary Messerschmitt Bf 109 has left an indelible track in aviation history since its first flight and has ranked among the best fighter aircrafts of all time. The main features, such as the all-metal construction, the enclosed cab or the retractable chassis, were the reasons why the German Luftwaffe chose it as its key assault force. It has also proved to be a great and often fatal adversary not only to the Spitfires and Hurricanes of the Royal Air Force since the Battle of Britain.
Can I fly with virtual reality (VR) goggles even if I wear dioptric goggles?
Yes, we have a set for classic dioptric glasses. But with contact lenses, you will get a better effect (they will not push your glasses and you will have a better view).
Can the experience be done without virtual reality (VR) goggles?
Yes, it’s entirely up to the pilot whether he/she wants to fly only on the screen or have a virtual reality experience as well.
Can I exchange my voucher for another option?
Yes, the voucher can always be upgraded to a higher experience option or exchanged for an option of the same value. Simply contact us via one of the contacts below.
Is it possible to have 2 players cooperating instead of dogfighting against each other?
Yes, cooperation in 2-person combat flight is possible. Just indicate this request in the booking form or arrange with the instructor on site.
